Partner and stockpiler of the Cooperativa Agraria Allima Cacao Ltda., it has an area of 2.5 hectares, where it produces 600 kilos of organic cocoa of the CCN-51, ICS-95, ICS-39 and Criolla varieties.
It sells its production through the cooperative in international markets and through intermediaries in domestic markets, earning US$500 per season.
The implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), together with the execution of ecologically sustainable and socially responsible processes, have enabled the cooperative to obtain Organic (UTZ and USDA Organic) and Fair Trade (FAIRTRADE) certification[1].
As the cooperative’s collector, he has developed knowledge for the analysis of cocoa quality and the selection of beans that guarantee the quality of the product to the cooperative’s clients.

NURSERY AND GRAFTING MANAGEMENT
Install and prepare the nurseries, with conditions that guarantee the adequate development of cocoa.
Sow seeds and apply organic care and germination techniques to ensure the production of good quality seedlings.
To select and graft seedlings that allow for greater productivity and plant resistance to diseases and pests.
PRUNING MANAGEMENT
Perform pruning tasks in the different stages of development of cocoa plants, thus contributing to the improvement of production and facilitating the tasks of fertilization, pest control and harvesting.
Use the Synchronized Pruning and Fertilization Technique (TAPS).
